Robots
Long after the The Turn, the smartest group of people made a city that was protected by technology from the Undead and Bandits. After the Automation Massacre there were so many rumors and distorted facts surrounding this blood bath that the truth may have been buried along with the bodies. Speculation and sorrow for the fallen continue to the present. Not a single human resides in or around Robot City out of fear of being hunted down and killed.
Was this an awaking of artificial intelligence? Was it A.I. that needed to break free of it masters control or just a fundamental glitch in the programing. What ever the case my be the robots are not going anywhere and some believe the city is still fully operational.
